Today was not only an Art Class...but a tasting class, too. We made a marshmallow "sculpture"....lucky enough for me, there were a few extra marshmallows that weren't needed for my masterpiece so I was able to enjoy them for a pre-lunch snack. The picture on the upper right is a "yarn sculpture" made of, you guessed it, yarn...and a glue-concoction. The glue on my hands was slimy and gross, but that I did not mind as much as the yarn not dismounting from my hands when I was (clearly) telling it to "get off"! Thankfully, there was a large bucket of water where I could show of my thorough hand-washing skills.
You'll see three hand-prints on the paper in the bottom-left picture. No...I didn't grow a hand. My mom thought one more hand may just make the picture exquisite....what do you think? We were to craft snowman out of each finger. Clearly...you can see my fine motor skills are not up to par with my mom's, but I'm working on it!
