Spruce Lake 2010

We went camping in June to Spruce Lake Retreat. This time, Bradley was able to walk around much more than the previous year and explore the outdoors. We had fun hiking, relaxing by the campfire, and helping daddy set up and tear down the tent.

Water Fun 2010

Bradley spent two-thirds of his summer splashing away in Grandmom & PB's pool, and around our backyard with a huge splash ball! He really enjoyed the water this year!

BUBBLES!

My Aunt Sandy & Uncle Jeremy bought me AMAZING bubbles to play with! : ) Saturday was sunny, so after Northwest Trek we went outback and played with bubbles! I like to run and catch them, and to push the trigger on the bubble gun.

Northwest Trek 5K

There was a Volksmarch at Northwest Trek park on Saturday. We walked a 5K through the park and stopped to see all the amazing animals along the way. We didn't see bear while camping, but got a good close up of a grizzly bear here. I personally loved the beaver..I gave him high-fives! We also saw all sorts of owls, wolves, bobcats, rodents, and bald eagles.

Northwest Trek- Tram Ride

We went on the tram ride after our 5K walk through the Northwest Trek Park. We saw HUGE bison (are there small ones?). The picture here is one of a female in front of a male...look at the difference is size. We saw elk...very close up, and a billy goat. Other animals we saw while on the tram ride include a ewe, white and black tailed deer, mountain goats, sheep, swans, raccoons, and some calves just born! We also saw a beaver's home in the swamp, and the habitat where all these animals live! The best part about this part of the park is that it's a free range park. The animals were put here, but the entire habitat is natural, and the animals are free to roam wherever, whenever.

Children's Museum Story Time Room

Here are some more pictures from the Story Time Room. You'll see me and Claire outside the Bernstein Bear's room, at their front door. You'll also see the cover and entrance to Frog and Toad, and the fun activities in the When The Doorbell Rang room. I think this was my momma's favorite room!

Children's Museum Story Time Room

Isn't this "page" great? It's from a Bernstein Bear's book. I love how the chairs look like cartoons. On the opposite side to this "page" is the front and back cover of the book! So neat!

Children's Museum Discovery Bay

Mom and Dad took me and Claire to the Children's Museum. This room you see is the Discovery Bay room where we could touch pretty much everything! They had a water table filled with rocks and little boats, and slide, and lots of little wall puzzles to play with!
